  1. I'm always impressed by animation "doodles" like that. I couldn't animate a bouncing ball to save my life and... you know... I'm impressed.

Also, I absolutely LOVE you character sketch you put in here. Really brings me back to the good old D&D days of my youth where we'd try and sketch our adventurers and scenes from our quests... ^_^

    Great post, man!

  5. Thanks everyone!

    Adam--

Yeah I know. I animated her in place inside a movie clip with symbols and should've animated her walking forward in the first place. I'm finding out is a pain to fix after the fact.

I'm one of the sharpest spoons you'll ever meet....

  8. Hey Melmade, what program do you use to create your sketches? And as a storyboard artist, do you use a certain template for the boxes or are you supplied with dimensions by the company you are working for?

  9. Love your work, by the way!

  10. @ Harold
Firstly thanks for the kind word.

I use sketchbook pro majority of the time ,photoshop next and on occasion flash.

As far as boarding the only real boarding i did for money I was supplied with a template.

I'm not an real storyboard artist though. ( nor a real artist for that matter)

I'm more of a hobbyist / dabbler. Currently my title would be visual designer but I don't believe that either. You can just call me crazy....I'm a pro in that realm hands down
