I really like the Harry Potter, except for his pelvis area, which seems kind of diaperish.

Dude you're a machine, everytime I stop by there is new stuff either A) you are very motivated or B) the Animation course is working you real HARD. Probably a little of both :)

Lovely character stuff.

PS. how do you manage a relationship and do this amount or artwork? I try but it IS a real balancing act. I resorted to using a laptop and trying to be more sociable when working :)

Wow, all of these are spectacular Mel! My fave is "out of the box" man! Such a great concept! Nice poses on all of these too.

Oh my goodness... all of them are GREAT! You do incredible things with a pencil. I'm amazed at how quickly you turn out such perfect character sketches. Will they mail a package like that... with just a question mark on it? Only one way to find out. Maybe I'll send someone their head. Amazing stuff, Mel. I love your blog!

Mel, you are like a freight train of drawing goodness. These drawings made my day. Especially the guy warning me of the END...

Hey Mel,

If you can, you should video tape the paper as you're drawing, like Chris Wahl. It'd be cool to see how you bring a character to life. Amazing.
