Today is the 10 month anniversary of Mekhi's Birth day. It's nice that it was passed in the house of representatives as the official date for pregnancy and infant loss rememberance.
We recieved a letter from the family that recieved his heart. It comforts us some to know that it still beats and that a part of him is alive bringing joy to another family. Our lil hero.
We miss and love you so much Mekhi.

I just set an alarm on my phone to remind me to light a candle at 7:00. We actually have candles! I'm so sorry you lost your son, Mel. Happy ten-month birthday, Mekhi.

Wow, I shed a tear for your family this morning. I'm sad I missed the candle lighting last night. It's awesome to think his heart saved another life. All I can say is Wow!

he was good enough to gain his body and then leave...think of it that way! He's exalted already! Sorry for your loss...Im sure it probably gets easier, but the heartbreak will always be there too. God bless man!
