Lost my groove..

Man Im so run down...Shouldve been workin on boards tonite but couldnt get into a groove. So I doodles some heads. Surprise! Yeah I know. Feel free to give me a hard time in comment form so as I can get off my ace and get crackin on the animatics..

this might help ya get crackin'. i went to an asifa-sf lecture last night featuring david andrews . He had some killer words of wisdom regarding character animation (which I plan to post notes soon)... but I did find this recent interview he did recently for XSI.

you are such an inspiration mel... keep up the amazing work!

I know the feeling. Tying yourself down to a single idea is tough...I always just wanna sketch random stuff myself, because it doesn't feel like work. Just put on your favourite animated film, turn on the commentary track, and work to that!

The best way to get back in the groove is by drawing random heads. Nice work.
