Finally

Heres my layout animatic. ( Finally ) Will start to block in the animation this week. A couple of pics and some plastic animation paper playin. I have officially let the blog go over a week with out updating.....Im slackin so heres my apology. Thanks everyone.

It's awesome.. I laughed so hard when I saw the expression on the dino after he tagged him :) didn't see it coming!

looks good. I'd like to see the final. because this is the internet, and I can't keep my yapper shut, here are my two bits (from a stranger):

I suggest you introduce the dinosaur earlier, even a quick shot would introduce the foe and heighten the tension, making the punchline more effective in the end. I would also suggest going with the most menacing of your dinosaur designs.

Fantastic work mel! I really like the idea for you short. I think if you spend the time, this will be a fantastic piece. It has a lot of action. But if you could work in a couple more acting shots somehow it would strengthen your reel.....so to speak. Very solid, keep it up!

Congrats on the animatic Mel!!! It's really great and very well done. Love the story, the characters and the action, all rounded off with a good surprise ending. Can't wait to see the fully animated version.
