Nice.. i haven't been to your blog in a while. haven't been to anyone's blog in a while really.. But man.. you've really improved alot since the last time I've been here.. Whatever you're doing is working big time.. Keep it up.. Your stuff looks great..
Sincerly, I don't need to see finished work if I can enjoy your work this way. But If you want to make some finished pieces, I won't mind at all, sir, It will be deserving to see (not sure if I'm saying this right). Keep up the amazing work!!
I think the advice you gave yourself is good advice. I try and dip my creativity in anything and everything. When you push the boundaries and leave your comfort zone some pretty amazing things can happen. As well as some great mistakes to learn from. Your sketches are amazing, but I think there is a lot more potential in you than your care to show. Keep cracking at it and maybe try doodling your sketches on different materials for starters.
holy cow, its been way too long since i last visited your blog. your designs are awesome. i don't know why i haven't bookmarked you yet. i apologize and promise to remedy that by later this evening. incredible work. i'll be back.
Long time no see!!!! Man I haven't been on the blogs for months. You were awesome before, but the later stuff is even awesome...er.. Love the designs and your lines have a great flow.
More excellent sketches! Why waste your time on color when you can kick out incredible drawings this quickly? I guess adding color is fun sometimes, too... but, man! What great drawings! You're the best.
Mel, Great cartoon and artwork. I know this post is a year old, but I was wondering if I could have your permission to use the "Swashbuckler" image in my zine for an upcoming story. I would credit you as the illustrator with a link and a bio if you want. Let me know, thanks! Lyn from ResAliens (at) gmail (dot) com. or visit http://residentialaliens.blogspot.com
