Im an Innocent Man....

So yeah Ive been gone a looonnnnnnngg time. Ive basically been in a creative slump. One of the worst ones Ive ever had. Lots on my plate. Im hoping to get back into some sort of groove but I seem to be slowing down these days. Which doesnt help gettin outta this funk. I thought I would be cured with a much needed break, but still havent been able to get back to that place.

Anyways for those who may still be watchin this spot I will try to do mo bettah.

So today Ive got a few drawings and a small "fer fun" piece of animation. ( Cleanin it up. Havent gotten to the brows or the straw. )

Please forgive me whilst I gather my strength.....

Hey Mel!
Good to see you back. All is forgiven. & don't think there's any pressure just because you're an inspiration to myself & many others out there as well.. We'll wait for you.
I don't know if they do it out there in Utah but Dr. Sketchy's has been an amazing source of creative juice. I've been going every time since october here.
Let us know if we can help. you're awesome! Awesome to the max!

Lovely drawings mate.

Personally, if Im not feeling it, I dont do it. Why put pressure on yourself? Theres more to life than drawing, itll come when its ready, and we'll all be here to appreciate it when it does! Hope your good man.

Your creative slump sucks, because this stuff is awesome.

Dang Mel, your slumps make my creative periods look like I'm starting over. Essentially I haven't done any serious drawing in just under a month, and need to get back to it, or start that writing career I've been considering-- which would be starting over. Good luck man. Hope you can find the joy we all feel in our work.
