Mel, you have a style so distinctly your own-- I LOVE IT! Amazing stuff as usual my friend. I hope the jobs treating you well. I'm counting on you to revolutionize the industry. Don't dissapoint me.

Hey Mel,
These are great! Love the birds especially.

Stop blaming yourself, Mel! We love your fresh doodles!
These are fantastic Mel. I particularly like the page of simple gestural drawings - very expressive.

these doodles are great! even if you're going to post some animation (soon ;) ) we want to see sketches too! your doodles are great inspiration. Those birds are awesome and same goes with the characters!
Awesome stuff Mel!! Please don't stop posting the doodles, they rock!
always inspiring.
I'm really drawn to the page of birds
and the lion/panther in the tree.
but ofcourse everything is great.
Ha ha! I like the guy walking proud and the guy running with his hands in the air like he's trying to scare someone. They remind me of the old Looney Tunes.
I know the feeling with having something that I really honestly want to do, and at times feel like I should do, but I just can't bring myself to do it. One thing that really works for me is to tell myself I'm absolutely not going to work on it tonight. Tonight I'm gonna chill and be 100% unproductive. And tomorrow night I'll revisit the project.
In other words, you're your greatest source of pressure. Relax.
Oh yeah! What an awesome update.. I love the bird designs, but the bugs poses are by far my favorite! So much life and attitude in it... I'm so jealous of your drawing skills.
Keep rocking Mel.. and thanks for all your kind words!
Wow, man! I love the gestures... tons of life and motion. You're amazing.
That square jawed chap is super cool. I wish I had a perfectly square chin.
with doodles this sweet, I do believe I'm just fine with all the posts continuing this way :)
MEL!!! Hey nothing wrong with keepin it sharp. Animation is great but you really need a driving factor to complete those type of tasks. Future employment opportunity, or school project. Right now you are settling in on a nice gig. Just keep those sketches comin!
Your personal style is very recognizable.
