Wow, I haven't seen your site in a couple weeks and wow! I always feel a little like an ant looking up at Mount Everest when visiting your site. Wow... did I mention wow? Really glad you're back and better than ever!

Nice cars Mel! I have always loved a nicely drawn car- Check out George Trosley's site if you get a minute. I have a link to his site on my blog. He was the king of great hot rod cartoon art- used to draw for CarToons magazine back in the day... Glad to see that school dosen't prevent you from sketching... keep em' coming man!

Oh man ! Really great car drawings! You aren't good at em???? I think these are terrific. What do you do at work, where you have time to draw these? Just waiting for Renders?

thanks a load for all the comments guys!

Shawn--Im waiting on gettin a job that I can do this kinda stuff for a livin ;)

I usually draw to loosen up for the day. Would be nice to do drawing for a living. Most days I do graphic design type work or low poly modeling. Cant wait to finish skool and focus on animation. One day I will have a real job.....sigh

Hey Mel,

Thanks for your nice comment, I appreciate it.
Looks to me like you've overcome your fear of drawing cars! they look great. I especially like the wheels, almost give 'em kind of a hirschfeld look.
The facial expressions you did are hilarious. The guy to the left in the mid row makes me think of Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber, when he makes "the most annoying sound in the world"

Keep up the good work,

Hans

Wow, man! You call that havin' a problem with cars? Then I'm in deep sh*t. They are great: I love the way you solved the wheels so small it gives weigh to the rest of the car. An d the hoods so big give them a cartoony agresiv style. As for the people drawings, what can I say? Everything around is great.
I'll try some cars myself in my blog some time soon. You've inspired me, man.

Those cars have LOADS of personality! I'm just sitting here studying them to try and figure out how the heck you did that... :)
